Id like to ask. Is it really nescessary to ask questions abt the company after the interview? But what if i dont have anything to ask the interviwer, would that be ok? Or what if the question i want to ask doesn't relate to the industry, is it still good?

I understand everything you say but i can't copy the way you speak😂...

It really gets me on my nerves that some of the customers can't understand the policies just to get what they want, feeling special and smartass, sorry not sorry :>. Some or mostly can't understand that we are human too like them getting upset and hurt, we are just trying to help them., good thing for the other bpo companies giving the csrs right to refuse to assist the customer like this, so disrespectful.

Most callers i talk to comments that they get frustrated a lot cause the rep they just spoke to seems to either have no idea what they're doing & the most honest was that their English is so poor.! Im really grateful with your tips Candace,.it helped me a lot. Im sure one of the main reason cx thinks reps dont know proper English is because they follow the Call Flow to a T. I learned from you, that first,, its a conversation. The cx doesnt have a "call flow" to follow.,so we need to speak w/them & not just throw spiels at them. It embarasses me, too, since im in the same company & i hope these people get to view your videos..! 😂😅

I live in a country where having a masculine voice as a woman is frowned upon, but I've received a job application for an at-home call center position that demands an impeccable English accent, at a time when I REALLY need the money and lack of transport expenses Could you see them accepting me anyway with an impeccable accent? Man! This happened on my first day at the BPO. I felt nervous and pressured at the same time; I couldn't speak properly. Embarrassing.

Personally....and this is just me...I feel like because customers are very different, one size fits all scripting doesnt work. For example, Karen cannot be spoken too like the rest of the world because she is looking for a reason to speak to a supervisor...but using the same kind of phrases can be offensive to other people....a busy mom with kids who has been on hold wants you to get to the point, but an elderly person wants all the suggestions. Being a good customer service rep isnt easy. You have to be able to read people in less than a minute sometimes. Listen to their tone and how they react to your style. The biggest irritation for me is when the rep gives me a word salad with every response.

Don't stay at this job for too long. it really is bad for your health both mentally and physically. Learn new skills and gain more experience that will be useful outside of the call center.

I failed twice in final interview because i can't convince them that i really want to let go of my degree and i will devote my life learning the art of customer service? What should i do?
